This little girl, Hala, was one of the sweetest and most calm babies I have ever met! She was so patient with me as I posed her and moved her around. She is the youngest baby I have ever photographed and she taught me a lot! Look at that laugh...

My friend Katie asked me if I would photograph her dog's birthday party (I did her engagement photos a little while ago). I had NO idea what to expect, but nothing prepared me for just how crazy it was!! There were about 15 dogs running all over, barking, pouncing, nipping, peeing... You name it! But it was SO fun and I got some really cute pics. Here are just a few... The first two are of the birthday dogs :)

Last weekend was unbelievably beautiful! So sunny and warm. I was so happy that I had planned to meet my mom's friend from work and her son down at Magnuson Park for a shoot. I had never met either of them before, so I was a little worried about how things would go, but this little guy was so cute and such a great model :) The second they got out of the car, I knew I had nothing to worry about! I am finding that I have so much fun talking with the mom's while I take pictures, which is great! I am SO happy with the images we got. Here are just a few...

fun at the locks

I have been busy practicing my photography! I have had a photo shoot every weekend in February. Two weeks ago I got together with the little guy I nannied all summer. I met him and his mom at the Ballard Locks. Again, I had a blast catching up with his mom while taking tons of cute pictures. I am learning a lot about taking photos of kids, and let me tell you it is NOT easy! They are constantly moving and not necessarily willing to pose the way I want them to. But once I get home and look at the images, I realize THAT is what makes the images so great -- The cute personalities that come out. Here are a few of my favorites from this shoot...

I got together with a good friend of mine this afternoon so that I could take some pictures of her daughter. ADORABLE! It was so much fun to shoot such a cutie, and catch up with her mom at the same time!

Could spring already be here?! Today was a beautiful day - Sunny and warm! And the flowers are starting to bloom (I even saw some cherry blossoms - My favorite). But it is only February... Well, even if this is just a tease, I will take it. It feels good to walk around outside without a jacket!
